Server Headers
Server Headers are great indicators in SEO work.
You need to check them. Go to Google and do a search for "server header check". You’ll find a number of free tools in the SERPs.
Pop your urls in, and see what status messages you get. "200 Ok" and "301 Moved Permanently" are good.
Anything else and you need to go back to your site and look at your urls – are they set up properly? Use your SEO skills on the urls & site architecture, til you come back with a clean report.
Now get out there and optimize those urls!
