Yahoo sells and buys
In the midst of major cutbacks, Yahoo makes a hefty purchase…
Although Yahoo has plans for eliminating 1500 employees and closing several offices, they’ve curiously also made plans to purchase a new data center.
Yep, you read correctly. Yahoo plans on investing over $100 Million on purchases of a new data center as well as a service center, in Nebraska.
It could be good news for Yahoo! users and for future Nebraskan employees…But for those currently getting let go – I’m sure their not too happy.
