Just a short shout-out to the new folks at our Northern Shaolin class that meets regularly in Decatur, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. None of these people have substantial experience in the Chinese Martial Arts, however they all pulled off their first class with relative ease, and if you’ve been to one of our classes – you know that’s no small feat!
Fall brings our Atlanta Northern Shaolin class into its own new season. 3 students are already preparing for their first test.
Northern Shaolin is a style of TCMA, or Traditional Chinese Martial Arts; otherwise known as "Kung Fu". In Mandarin Chinese, one would call the style "Bei Shaolin" or "Bei Shao Lin", and in Cantonese "Bak Siu Lam".
